We are not taking apprentices at this time.
Being my apprentice is an exchange. We meet every other Friday, March 22, 2019 until November 8th, 2019. I feel the best way to learn is by doing and I need your help in the garden! Your exchange of labor is a huge help to me. Please be comfortable doing heavy lifting within reason, getting dirty, being outside in the heat and weather. Please also be a good communicator dedicated to personal growth and self reflection. You will work alongside me as we:
+manage a small organic farm
+raise and process small livestock
+forage and make medicine
+occasionally assist me with my many classes
+get to can, freeze, dry and otherwise store and make pickles, jams, and other preserved food from field and forest
+perform and learn Traditional witchcraft and learn plant lore
+celebrate the turning of the Wheel with me and our community
What is Traditional Witchcraft? I teach historical Witchcraft, not Wicca. I do not teach flower essences, crystals or other newer medicine technologies. Does this mean I don't like them? Heck no. I have many wonderful friends teaching these lovely things and can offer a recommendation. My personal knowledge lies in historical, and folkloric magic and folk magical traditions, especially those of England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Germany, and Appalachian Folk Magic. If it's not from history, I probably don't know about it. I only mention this to not disappoint potential apprentices who may be looking for different instruction.
Apply below and I will arrange a working interview to ensure we're a good match for mentor/ mentee relationship. Applying does not guarantee a spot on our crew. Thank you for understanding.
